Call our HopLine
The HopLine (413/525-9222) is a 24/7 voice mail service for those seeking rabbit-related assistance. Our messages are picked up at least once a day by trained, rabbit-experienced volunteers who will return your calls at their earliest convenience, usually within 24 hours.
Email to the HopLine is screened frequently throughout the day, prioritized, delegated to the appropriate House Rabbit Connection volunteers, and responded to as soon as possible.
Typical calls or emails to the HopLine include adoption inquiries, rabbit care and behavior questions, requests for the HRC rabbit care guide, requests for veterinary referrals, and donation offers of supplies or cash. Although we do not take rabbits from the public, we can assist people who need to surrender their rabbits with re-homing suggestions. If you are concerned that your rabbit may need emergency veterinary care, do not call or email us to ask our opinion…get your rabbit to a rabbit-savvy vet as quickly as you can!
